The Collingswood Public School District is known for its commitment to fostering a love for the arts among its students. This commitment is demonstrated by the district's provision of three major theatrical productions each school year. These productions include the Collingswood High School (CHS) Fall Drama, the Collingswood Middle School (CMS) Fall/Winter Musical, and the CHS Spring Musical. These productions are not exclusive to a select few, but rather, they are open to all students enrolled within the district. This provides all students with an equal opportunity to showcase their talents and develop their performance skills.

The Collingswood Public School District's investment in the arts is not confined to the school environment. It extends to the community through the Collingswood Youth Theatre. This recreational theatre program, sponsored by the Borough of Collingswood, was established in Spring 1995 by Mrs. Barbara Lefkoe. Over the past quarter-century, the Youth and Summer Theatres have staged numerous productions featuring students from Collingswood and surrounding areas, from grades 3-8. Further information about this program can be found on the Collingswood Youth Theatre website.
